Starry Hollow Farm is a small homestead nestled in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains in East Tennessee. We raise (and spoil) goats, sheep, and a llama for fiber, have chickens, guineas, and ducks for bug control, tend the gardens and orchard, and make bath & body products using the gifts of nature. We strive to live a natural life, reduce plastic use, and eliminate toxins released into the environment.
Our shetland sheep, nigora goats, and heavy wool llama produce beautifully soft and warm fiber suitable for spinning into yarn. Be assured the animals are well cared for and loved, are never bred or used for meat, and the fibers are carefully harvesting to cause no injury to them.
Our soaps are made from high-quality ingredients including: plant oils infused with herbs from the farm, nourishing shea butter, natural clay colorants, and natural fragrance from essential oils.
We grow a variety of vegetables, fruits, and herbs in the garden, many of which are used in our products. Our large orchard provides a bounty of apples and pears.
We are committed to reducing plastic and caring for our planet. ALL soaps are biodegradable, nontoxic, vegan, and palm free. ALL packaging (soap wrap, stickers including adhesive, envelopes, boxes) is made of 100% recycled materials and is 100% recyclable. All our oil bottles are reused for soap or farm use. Almost all herbs are grown or wild harvested on our farm.
We have a fun variety of animals on the farm - shetland sheep, nigora goats, a llama, chickens, guineas, ducks, and rabbits! We're also lucky enough to have a panoramic scenic view of the Smoky mountain foothills. Our products include soap bars, bath salts, beard oil, solid lotion, shampoo & conditioner bars, and we're expanding all the time! All made with gentle, biodegradable ingredients and packaged in recyclable materials.
