Our all natural, handmade soap bars weigh approx 4.5-5oz.  These bars provide gentle cleansing and moisture from skin-loving plant oils & butters, healing herbs, and natural colorants from plants & clays.  A custom essential oil blend provide a light scent and complement the action of the herbs. The soaps arrive in beautiful wrapping featuring hand drawn botanical illustrations, perfect for display or gift giving!  

The formulation of oils provides the right balance of creaminess, bubbly lather, and glide for a luxurious shower experience that smooths and softens the skin.

ECO-FRIENDLY

We are committed to reducing plastic and caring for our planet. ALL soaps are biodegradable, nontoxic, vegan, and palm free. ALL packaging (soap wrap, stickers including adhesive, envelopes, boxes) is made of 100% recycled materials and is 100% recyclable. All our oil bottles are reused for soap or farm use. Almost all herbs are grown or wild harvested on our farm. 

INGREDIENTS

No filler ingredients, everything in our soaps is thoughtfully chosen for a purpose. 

Oils – high quality, cold pressed, and ethically sourced 

Olive oil: the all-around superstar of our soaps, moisturizing, conditioning, and providing creamy lather

Coconut oil: deep cleansing, hardens bar for longer life

Babassu oil: cleansing but gentle, hardens bar for longer life

Grapeseed oil: lightweight oil for oily or acne prone skin 

Avocado oil: gentle moisturizing oil for dry skin

Castor oil: boosts the bubble factor 

Rice bran oil: high in vitamin E, especially good for dry or mature skin types

Shea butter: moisturizes and nourishes skin, and makes the bar harder and longer lasting 

Sunflower oil: creates silky lather and adds nourishing linoleic acid that conditions and moisturizes skin 

Herbs – grown or wild harvested on our farm, or ethically sourced 

Calendula: hydrates, reduces inflammation, high in antioxidants 

Chamomile: anti-inflammatory and antibacterial, reduces skin irritants, contains antioxidants 

Plaintain: this humble “weed” soothes sunburned, itchy, or rash affected skin.  It also invigorates the skin to reduce the chances of scarring

Sage: rich in antioxidants, vitamin A, and calcium to soothe skin

Aloe: well known for its skin-healing properties, aloe contains antioxidants and vitamins A and C, which help to reduce the appearance of acne and acne scars

Clays: draws out impurities in the skin and brightens complexion 

Charcoal: binds to dirt and impurities in the skin and draws them out of pores, making pores less

visible

Green tea: contains the powerful antioxidant EGCG that minimizes the look of UV damage and combats the signs of aging

Cornflower: natural astringent that works to tone, lighten and brighten the skin and even out discolorations

Jewelweed: a traditional treatment for poison ivy, it is anti-inflammatory and soothing

Yarrow: balances complexion, calms inflammation, and reduced the appearance of scars

Oats: soothes itching and irritation 

Echinacea: soothes skin and reduces inflammation

Aloe: rich in vitamins A and C, anti inflammatory, and moisturizing

Fragrance 

Custom essential oil blends: essential oils are chosen to complement and reinforce the action of the herbal ingredients, and provide a light pleasant scent

Natural fragrance oils: phalate-free and derived from all natural botanical sources, provide a fun hint of scent without headache-inducing (for me, anyway!) artificial fragrances 

SOAP CARE AND INFO

Due to the handmade nature of our soaps, each bar is unique and may vary slightly from the pictures. Each batch may have slight differences in color and size.  Your soaps will last much longer if allowed to dry completely between uses. We recommend a draining soap dish and to avoid storing on uncoated metal racks. Some natural colorants are quite potent, they are tested before listing for color fastness, but we still recommend a dark colored wash cloth.
